Strat-up Visa

With a good business idea, you can come to the UK on a Start-up visa, set up your own business and run it. If you believe your business proposal is good, this can be the right visa for you!
Do I need to have money to invest in my business?
No!
Do I need to know English?
Yes! At least CEFR Level 2. For example, score 5.5 in IELTS for UKVI.
How long is the visa for?
2 years. You can apply for other types of visas after that.
Do I have to stay in the UK the whole 2 years?
No. There is no residency requirement for this visa.
Can I bring my family with me?
Yes! You can bring your partner and 'dependent' children.
Who decides if my business idea is good enough?
An endorseing body. Endorsing bodies are some organisations authorised by the UK government to consider your business proposal and decide if it is good enough.
